Sheree began with Nambucca Family Medical in 2004 transitioning from a management role within the dental industry.
Sheree was the joint founder of the NHC and provided project management for the planning and construction of the original Nambucca Healthcare Centre facility at Willunga Avenue. She was responsible for the successful procurement of the Federal Government grant that supported the establishment of the facility which grew to become the central hub for all things primary healthcare in the Nambucca Valley, and the success it continues to be to this day.
The creation of a unique partnership model by Sheree formed the foundation of the establishment of the renal dialysis satellite clinic in the Nambucca Valley in 2014 in partnership with NSW Health. This provided the catalyst for the extension of the existing 350m2 facility by another 420m2 to include a purpose built dialysis wing. She went on to also lead the establishment of comprehensive medical imaging services for the valley in the form of Active Medical Imaging, commencing operation in 2015 within the extension building.
Sheree continues in her principal role at the Nambucca Healthcare Centre as general manager, where the business has continued to adapt in response to the needs of the community during the bushfires, floods and the recent COVID-19 pandemic. She successfully established the Nambucca Valley Respiratory Clinic in May of 2020, which wrapped up in December of 2022 having delivered over 8,000 COVID-19 assessments & PCR tests, as well as over 18,000 vaccinations in the community through onsite as well as mobile outreach clinics.
Sheree is a certified Practice Manager with AAPM and completed her Diploma in Practice Management in 2007. She is also drawing near to completion of her Diploma of Project Management congruent with her practical experience, despite the disruption of the current healthcare climate.
